Recently, Olin Idol, Hallelujah Acres' Vice President of Health delivered a health seminar at Centerville Baptist Church in South Boston, Virginia. This week, the pastor of that church shares his frightening health emergency that led to a testimony of healing:
“I am the 42-year-old pastor of Centerville Baptist Church in South Boston, Virginia. About 9 months ago, I began getting sick. We had been out to eat with some friends when all of a sudden I experienced pain in my chest and then my throat closed. They rushed me to the emergency room at the local hospital where they gave me a shot and I was able to get something caught in my throat out. Getting something caught in my throat happened several times during the next few months. Doctors recommended I see a GI doctor which I did and next they wanted me do an Endoscopy. The result came back that I had eosinophilic esophagitis (an allergic inflammatory condition of the esophagus). Following that diagnosis, I began getting very sick to my stomach with gas and finally nausea that would not go away. After another trip to the Emergency Room they did a CT scan which revealed what they said appeared to be Crohn's disease. I had all the symptoms of Crohn’s except for the bleeding. A colonoscopy ruled out Crohn’s disease, though they could see that my colon was very inflamed. At this point, I was so sick I could no longer eat so they sent me to have a sonogram of my gallbladder. It was full of stones and surgery was scheduled to remove my gallbladder. Just three days after the surgery, I went right back to being so nauseous and violently sick to my stomach that they sent me to see a new GI doctor at Duke Medical Center. By this point I had not been able to eat for 43 days, had lost 73 pounds, and been unable to pastor my church for months. They had taken so many vials of blood to test for so many things I lost count, done all kinds of tests and even surgery — and yet they looked at me and said ‘We do not know what is making you so sick.’ My wife and I came home that day and, at my mother’s recommendation, called Hallelujah Acres. We spoke to a Health Minister who suggested The Hallelujah Recovery Diet. At first I could only get down one or two BarleyMax and vegetable juices a day. However, after only a few days on these juices my nausea began letting up for a few hours. At last I had some hope! I kept on the regimen and slowly was able to increase my intake of the juices until I was fully on The Hallelujah Recovery Diet. Each week I saw improvement, and here I am just three months after making this diet change and I am enjoying great health. I went back to see my GI doctor and he said he had never seen anyone have such a quick turn-around of health after being so seriously sick. I have decided to make The Hallelujah Diet my permanent way of living. I just cannot get over how God used food to heal my body! I feel great! Thank you Hallelujah Acres for spreading the message of hope and healing so that God’s people can have a strong and healthy body with which to serve the Lord.” ~ Pastor Todd McClure, Centerville Baptist Church, South Boston, VirginiaEDITOR'S NOTE: Dear friends, how sad it is that the Christian Community has never heard the good news that the body, without any help from doctors, drugs, or surgery, is capable of healing itself if we simply give the body the resources it needs to perform the healing task. The Hallelujah Diet provides those resources! As Hippocrates said: “Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food!” Words of wisdom from the father of modern medicine spoken over 2,000 years ago!
