Crockpot Pilaf

Crock Pot Pilaf brings together the simplicity of a slow cooker and the goodness of wholesome plant-based ingredients, making it a perfect vegan side dish. Its hands-off cooking style allows you to effortlessly create a flavorful and nutritious addition to any meal. 

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups distilled water
1 pint peeled fresh chopped tomatoes (or canned salt-free tomatoes)
1 medium ripe bell pepper, chopped
1 large garlic clove, peeled and minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup black olives (pitted and halved)
1 1/3 cups Basmati rice (organic if available)
2 teaspoons all-purpose herb seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in your crock pot, stir, cover, and cook on low for 6-9 hours; or cook on high for 3 hours.
