Many years ago the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City served a salad perfect for a fresh vegan menu. It contained apples, celery, and walnuts, it was and is delicious, and became known as the Waldorf Salad. This salad is packed with raw fruits and vegetables, and is a raw vegan protein source. Here is a new twist to the salad; we will call it the Waldorf Salad in a Glass.
Ingredients
3 ounces apple juice
3 ounces celery juice
3 walnuts
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth and creamy. This is not only a raw delicious and nutritious smoothie, but walnuts are a good source of Omega 3. ENJOY!
