Raw Okra

Raw Okra

This raw, no cook vegan recipe comes from Nancy Wilkes, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. It is not really a recipe because there is only one raw foods ingredient. But if you have a garden where you grow okra, you might like to try it.

"Small tender okra, about 2-4 inches long, are very tasty eaten raw. I know no one else who eats raw okra, but I enjoy eating it right off the stalk while in my garden. It is also good whole or sliced in a salad." Enjoy!

Whole-food meal with leafy greens, beans, grains, berries, avocado, seeds, and vegetables being prepared in a sunlit kitchen.
