Last week we shared a recipe for an Applecado Smoothie, which was a blend of apple juice and avocado to make a tasty, high-protein smoothie. This week we are once again going to use avocado, only this time to make a butter substitute. Finding protein on a raw vegan diet is as simple as two ingredients! (Some may call this one of the most lazy raw vegan recipes!) Follow the instructions below:
Ingredients
2 avocados (flesh from)
Lemon juice
Directions
Mix avocado with just enough lemon juice to make it spreadable. The consistency should be stiff like its soft, SAD, counterpart. Enjoy it with the many recipes and dishes you would normally use the real thing. This tasty butter substitute is high in protein, contains healthy oil, but none of the negatives of the real thing.
