Last week, in Health Tip #495, we shared a recipe from Lis for a Hot Lemon Drink. But the weather is warming, at least where Rhonda and I live. In fact some days are getting downright HOT! So I was thinking, for a hot weather drink, why not take Lis’ “Hot Lemon Drink” and turn it into a nice cold lemonade! This is one of the easiest, fresh vegan recipes. So let’s take Lis’ recipe, and rather than adding HOT water to the lemon pulp and juice, let’s simply add COLD water:
Cold Distilled Water
Cut a lemon in half, scrape the juice and flesh into a mug, fill the mug with COLD distilled water, sweeten with some honey, and ENJOY!”
