When it comes to salads, a sprinkle of crunchy croutons can take your dish from ordinary to extraordinary. While traditional croutons may not always be the healthiest option, we have good news – there are healthy alternatives out there! Give this recipe a try!


Ingredients:
Several slices Ezekiel Bread
Onion powder to taste
Italian seasoning to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Celtic sea salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut several slices of Ezekiel Bread into small cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes with onion powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of Celtic sea salt. Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  4. Spread the seasoned bread cubes evenly on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the croutons turn golden brown and crispy.
  6. Allow them to cool slightly before using them to top your favorite salads or soups.
