Gluten Free Carob Bars

A delightfully, simple dessert that is easy to make and even more easier to please your taste testers of this fabulous dessert.

Ingredients

¼ cup coconut butter
½ cup hot water
½ cup honey
½ cup Hallelujah Diet Raw Carob Powder
½ cup almond butter
½ cup chopped nuts
2 to 3 cups Gluten-Free rolled oats
¾ cup shredded coconut
½ cup raisins (optional)
½ tsp. unrefined salt (optional)

Directions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together coconut butter, hot water, honey, almond butter, carob powder and salt until smooth.
2. Add remaining ingredients to the carob mixture and mix well.
3. You can also rub a little coconut oil in the baking dish before pressing in the ingredients and they will easily slide out when cutting.
4. Pour into a medium rectangular baking pan and press down with hands or a spatula.
5. Refrigerate before cutting bars.
Whole-food meal with leafy greens, beans, grains, berries, avocado, seeds, and vegetables being prepared in a sunlit kitchen.
