Fruit nut balls made with pecans, dried plums and dates

Fruit Nut Balls

Spice up any occassion or family gathering with these quick snacks. Be careful for they will not last long, these yummy treats go REALLY quick.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups pecans
2/3 cup dried plums (prunes)
2 medjool dates, pitted, torn in pieces
1 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil
4 Tbsp. orange juice*
1/8 tsp. unrefined salt

Directions

1. Place all items in a food processor and process with the "S" blade until desired texture.
2. Stop a couple times while processing to check "dough" consistency and scrape down ingredients from the sides of the bowl
3. Form into balls about the size of a golf ball
4. Store in the freezer
5. *Option: For a tarter flavor, instead of 4 Tbsp. orange juice, use 3 Tbsp. orange juice and 1 Tbsp. lime juice.
