Looking for a healthy bread recipe to pair with your plant based entrees or eat as a snack? Here is my favorite recipe for bread. Note this is bread is for a vegetarian menu as it uses honey. Use agave or another sweetener to keep it fully vegan.
10 -11 ounces distilled water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt (I use Celtic Sea Salt)
1 1/2 tablespoons Molasses
1 1/2 tablespoons Honey
3 1/2 cups Whole-Wheat Flour
1 tablespoon Vital Gluten
2 teaspoons Yeast
All items should be at room temperature before you begin. I grind my own flour and it comes out very light. Here is my favorite recipe for bread. I make it in my bread machine on the whole-wheat cycle or for dinner rolls, just put it on the dough cycle, take out the dough and make dinner rolls, which I then bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
