Angela Bryan provided this week's Crock Pot recipe. She titles it Oh So Simple Roasted Yams.
Ingredients:
Clean yams (leave on skin)
Directions:
Poke holes in them with a fork
Place in crock pot without water and slow cook 6-8 hours
Remove from crock pot
Options: Mash yams and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg, cinnamon, and raw honey (or maple syrup) to taste, stir and ENJOY!
