Chive Cream Cheese

You can make this great-tasting, raw vegan alternative to dairy cream cheese in less than 10 minutes!


1 cup macadamia nuts, soaked 5 to 7 hours, rinsed and drained
1 cup pine nuts, soaked 2 to 3 hours, rinsed and drained
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
2 tsp agave nectar OR maple syrup OR brown rice syrup
½ tsp Celtic sea salt
½ cup chives, green onions or herbs
Just enough distilled water to blend


1. Place nuts, lemon juice, and sweetener in Vitamix or other heavy duty blender, and turn on.
2. Slowly add distilled water and blend to a creamy consistency.
3. Sprinkle in chives, green onions, or herbs into cream cheese after blending.
4. Serve chilled. Will keep in refrigerator for a few days.
