Green Smoothies are becoming very popular as a mid morning snack or even a meal replacement for lunch. They are extremely nutritious and very delicious. Take this recipe for a spin in your blender.
Ingredients
½ tablespoon flax seed OR hemp seed (ground)
½ cup frozen blueberries
1 cup apple juice or distilled water (or combination of both)
Handful of spinach OR collard OR kale leaves
*Organic ingredients are always recommended.
