With the first day of spring occurring this past Friday, those who live in an area where they have access to some beautiful parks will hopefully be thinking of spending more time in the great outdoors, and going on some trail walks. And of course, it is always nice to have something healthy along on these walks to snack on. Need some inspiration for on the go vegan meals? This week we share a healthy trail mix for you to consider making and taking along with you on that next trail walk for some easy vegan eating. Happy Trails to you until we meet again!
Ingredients
1 cup almonds (soaked, drained, rinsed, and dehydrated)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup sunflower seeds (sprouted till root tip appears, and then dehydrated)
Directions
Mix all ingredients together, place in baggie, and ENJOY!
