In this issue we feature a Wassail recipe sent to us by Greg Tabor in Tennessee. Greg writes: "Everyone loves a good hot cup of Wassail. I fixed this during Thanksgiving. I got it from Wild Oats Supermarket's Holiday Recipe book."
Ingredients:
4 cups apple juice
3 cups pineapple juice (unsweetened)
2 cups cranberry juice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (ground)
2 cinnamon sticks
5 cloves (whole)
5 lemon slices
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot! Happy holidays!
