Versatile Veggie Sauce


1 cup almond butter
2-4 Tbsp. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp. honey
Juice from 1 hand squeezed lemon
2 tsp. grated ginger root
1 Tbsp. Tamari, wheat-free soy sauce
1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil 1/2
1 tsp. cayenne powder filtered water to blend with


1. Place all ingredients in blender.
2. Add only enough water to facilitate blending.
3. Should look as if a thick creamy soup.
4. Adjust flavor now, may want to increase ginger.
5. Pour blender mixture into saucepan, heat only until warm to the touch, allow to set 5 minutes to allow flavor meld.
6. Drizzle over shredded cabbages or sprouts, sliced salads.
7. Great over cauliflower and broccoli.
