Looking for a something to serve on a cold evening that doesn't take but 10-minutes to prepare? Then look no further than this easy delicious vegan recipe. What makes this recipe even better is that uses only affordable vegan food. Rhonda served me this dish the other evening and I thought it worthy of sharing with our readers:
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped red peppers
1 can (15 oz.) vegetarian baked beans
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans (drained)
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon dried onions (fresh chopped onion could be used)
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
Directions
Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated (10-minutes). Serve with a nice salad. A veggie burger could also be served with the beans and salad. (Increase/decrease molasses and pure maple syrup to satisfy taste buds.) ENJOY!
