We have a sour cream dip that we think tastes as good as cheese, if not better. It is a “sour cream” made with cashews and packed with intense flavor from fresh dill and red pepper. The lemon juice gives this cream the tang of cheese. Very easy to make with a high-powered blender. Enjoy this healthy alternative to cheese. Adjust water for desired thickness.
Ingredients
½ cup water or amount for thickness desired
2 Tbsp. lemon juice or amount for desired tanginess
1 red bell pepper, seeds and stem removed, in chunks
¼ tsp. unrefined salt
Around ¼ cup fresh dill leaves, (mainly the frilly part with thin tender stems, not thick stems)
