Here is a new vegan recipe that Rhonda recently served me. She served this raw pie crust with a banana cream filling. But this pie crust could be used with most of the raw fillings found in Recipes for Life . . . From God's Garden! We love raw dessert recipes that are both versatile and healthy! Ingredients:
2 cups raw nuts (pecans are what Rhonda used)
3-4 tablespoons organic maple syrup
1 teaspoon pure vanilla
Directions:
Place S-blade in food processor. Turn on machine and feed nuts through the chute. Process until a fine texture is reached. With machine still running, add maple syrup and vanilla mixture, one teaspoon at a time, until nuts cling together. Stop machine, remove mixture, and press into a pie plate. Fill with desired filling.
