Most of the holiday recipes we have been sharing have been cooked recipes. This week we feature a RAW holiday recipe that can be served as a holiday lunch or even as a holiday dessert. It comes from Dawn Lucie, who writes:

"Hi, Reverend Malkmus, This is Dawn Lucie writing. You might remember my 'Hallelujah Babies' testimony from a while back. Here are a couple of yummy raw recipes for your readers:

Ingredients:

Ripe bananas, cut into thin slices

Ripe pears, cut into small chunks

Raw pecans, whole or chopped

Maple syrup to taste

Directions:

Prepare fruit and nuts for number of people being served. Then drizzle with maple syrup before serving. Can be made in individual serving dishes or in a large bowl. When you serve this you'll see why I call it "Ambrosia."

Alternative: Use apples and walnuts instead of pears and pecans—tastes better than apple pie! ENJOY!"
