For the past two weeks, we have shared a day on The Hallelujah Diet. Many readers were surprised to learn how easy it can be to follow The Hallelujah Diet during the daytime hours — even when away from home! In this Health Tip we’re going to discuss The Hallelujah Recovery Diet, a diet specifically designed for those who need to more aggressively support their body’s self-healing efforts when dealing with life-threatening physical problems.
The Healthy Cell ConceptIn order to understand how The Recovery Diet works, we need to understand what will be happening at the cellular level of the body when we apply its principles. Without an understanding of what is happening at the cellular level we will not be able to appreciate the amazing power of the nutrients found in the foods and juices of The Recovery Diet. As a basis for understanding, we need to realize that our body is a LIVING organism, comprised of LIVING cells that were designed by God to be nourished exclusively with LIVING (raw) plant-sourced foods. All cooked foods are dead foods and incapable of properly nourishing a living body. It is interesting to note that every animal in the wild, whether plant eating or flesh eating, ever since creation to this present day, following their natural instincts as they were programmed by God, have instinctively consumed 100% of their food in its natural, raw, living form. Sadly, humans have lost this natural instinct. Our physical bodies are comprised of approximately 100 trillion living cells. Everything we are in the physical is comprised of these living cells:
- our hair and nails are living (we have to cut them because they keep growing)
- our skin, bones, blood, immune system, muscle, heart, etc. are living
- ... everything we are comprised of in the physical is in the form of living cells!
“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (I Corinthians 6:19-20) “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile
the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” (I Corinthians 3:16-17) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a LIVING sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)
God Gave Us A Diet To Sustain Our Physical BodiesAfter God created that first human, Adam, in Genesis 2:7 (giving him a physical body comprised of all living cells), He placed Adam in a garden (Genesis 2:8). In Genesis 1:29, God told Adam what foods he should nourish his physical body with in order to provide his body’s cells with the best building materials in order to keep the body’s cells strong. Here is what God told Adam to eat in order to keep his body cells strong:
“AND GOD SAID, Behold, I have given you every herb
seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the FRUIT of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat .” (Genesis 1:29)
The Secret To Proper Cell NourishmentRemember that, as the cells of our body are dying and replacing themselves at the rate of 300 million minute, the quality of the new cell is dependent on the quality of the building materials we provide it. Living (raw), plant-sourced foods fromt he garden are indeed the ideal building materials — God says so in Genesis 1:29 as there was no means of cooking food at the time God created Adam. Here at Hallelujah Acres we have learned that anything other than living, plant-sourced foods are inferior building materials and fail to provide the body’s cells with the nutrients needed to create superior cells. To put it simply...
- Superior quality building materials — from raw, plant-sourced foods and especially their juices — produce a new cell that is superior to the cell it is replacing!
- Anything coming from a food source found outside of the garden or that is cooked, provides the living cells with inferior building materials.
