Editor Thoughts: Universal Health Care is what I call
Universal Disease Care, because it doesn’t really make the American people healthy, but rather keeps people sick and dependent on doctors and drugs.
Thus the current DISEASE Care Industry is beyond fixing, especially by a Congress that has no idea what real health should look like and whose members are just as sick as those who run the so-called Health Care Industry. Government needs to “Stop trying to fix Health Care”, and I was thrilled that in our survey, 67% of those who responded agreed.
Let Each Citizen Choose the Form of Health Care They Desire
That’s what freedom is all about. Hallelujah Acres promotes health freedom while teaching health from a Biblical perspective. We teach people how, through simple diet and lifestyle changes, they can take control of their own health, avoid sickness and even restore health if already experiencing physical breakdown.
Millions are following our teachings, and tens-of-thousands have written to tell me that after making the diet and lifestyle changes we teach, they have recovered from over 170 different physical problems, and that they don’t get sick anymore.
Congress and our president are offering every citizen the opportunity to participate in a DISEASE Care System that is systemically broken. How can a system that is already broken improve the health of the people by forcing everyone to participate? Friends that will only perpetuate sickness and the status quo!
I for one refuse to participate in a DISEASE Care System that would require me to follow what the Congress dictates. In one of the bills being considered by Congress, refusal to participate could result in my being treated as a criminal for taking care of my own health and not being a burden on society. And my reward for taking care of my own health and not being a burden on society could result in my going to jail and being fined.
I am one of a growing number of Americans who are taking responsibility for their own health, rather than depending on those who are just as sick as the people they are trying to help and dependent on a government program that will take ever more money in the form of taxes to pay for a system that has nothing to do with health. I carry no Health Insurance and haven’t for 34-years now, thus saving well over $150,000 in insurance premiums.
My only hospital expense during the past 34-years was in 2001 when I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke following an extremely stressful trip abroad. I was rushed to the local hospital where treatment was refused and at home recovered completely in only a few weeks on the Hallelujah Acres Recovery Diet. Total hospital cost for that Emergency Room visit was approximately $1,000, which I paid out of my own pocket.
Instead of spending my money on Health Insurance these past 34-years, I have instead spent my money on organic produce, nutritional supplements, and exercise equipment that has kept my body strong and in a state of extremely high health. Because I keep my body strong and healthy, I have no concern for disease, cancer, etc., and find no need to waste my money on Health Insurance premiums (Maintaining Accident Insurance is still a good idea).
America used to be called the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Sadly, “we the people” have for years elected leaders that slowly but surely have taken away our freedoms one by one.
We need to ensure our leaders in Washington hear that we don’t want a fix to the DISEASE care system but we want a system that promotes and encourages true health.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14)
