“And the Lord God formed man of the DUST OF THE GROUND and breathed into his nostrils the BREATH OF LIFE; and man became a LIVING soul.” ~ Genesis 2:7From this Scripture, we learn that when God created that first man, Adam, the building materials He used to fashion the body was the rock “dust (minerals) of the ground.” And where did these building materials originate? Once again the Bible gives us the answer:
“In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the EARTH!” ~ Genesis 1:1
Yes, God simply spoke the word and the earth appeared.
This entire planet the Bible calls “EARTH”, the planet on which we live, is comprised 100% of base, dead, inorganic mineral dust. Science confirms this statement. But no one can explain the origin of our plant, or for that matter the origin of the rest of the universe — without God. And when we die, the Bible tells us...“For dust (rock minerals) thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” ~ Genesis 3:19This return to dust (rock minerals) occurs slowly when a person is placed in the ground following death, but happens very rapidly when a person is cremated. After cremation, all that is left of that physical body is a little pile of dead, inorganic, lifeless rock dust minerals.
What God Did with the Dust
When God created man, He reached down and took a handful of dust, a handful of dead, inorganic, lifeless rock minerals of which thes entire earth is comprised, and He fashioned a man. After God had fashioned the first man out of dead, lifeless, inorganic dust, man was complete in every way except one: he was lacking LIFE. Man was in a form similar to the body of a dead person we see in the casket at a funeral. There is a body, but it is devoid of LIFE. And what did God do with this lifeless body, a body comprised of these dead, rock “dust” minerals? The Bible tells what God did. He...“And the Lord God formed man of the ‘dust’ of the ground...” ~ Genesis 2:7
“...breathed into his nostrils the breath of LIFE; and man became a LIVING soul.” ~ Genesis 2:7
Life & Death
The key to understanding nutrition is understanding the difference between life and death; the difference between dead foods and living foods. When we grow a garden, we plant the seed, a seed that is dead in appearance, yet containing life. And where did the life within that seed originate? Once again, the Bible gives us the answer:“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding SEED, and the tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose SEED is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” ~ Genesis 1:11Friends, all life — whether it be plant life, animal life, or human life — all life originates with God. The Bible makes this abundantly clear:
“...for by Him (God, in the person of Jesus Christ – see John 1:1-14) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible . . . all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him ALL THINGS CONSIST.” ~ Colossians 1:16-17
Misplaced Faith
Evolutionists try to tell us that all life forms miraculously came into existence as a result of some dead rock minerals colliding with a great big “bang” eons and eons ago. Interestingly, though, evolution cannot tell us the origin of those rocks. But my friend, the evolutionist has a much greater problem then just explaining the origin of the rock dust of which this earth is comprised — because the theory cannot explain the origin of life itself. And why is that? Because man tries to explain the origin of all things without God! But the Bible says that without God creating it, nothing exists (see Colossians 1:16-17, above). My faith is in a God who created it all. My faith is not in some rock dust that somehow miraculously became life that ultimately evolved into a monkey who lost its tail and became a man! I’m so glad to know that there are no monkeys in my family tree! And friend, it takes far less faith to believe that there is a God who created the heavens and the earth and all forms of life upon this earth then it does to believe that this earth and all life forms upon it just happened. I really feel sorry for those who believe in evolution. Because to believe in evolution you have to believe (have faith) that somehow at some point in history some dead rock minerals, completely devoid of any form of life, suddenly became alive as a single cell, from which all forms of life sprang with all their complexities. How believable would it be if I showed you my watch with all its complexities and told you that eons ago some plastic and metal and glass were spinning around in the atmosphere and one day they collided with a big bang and that watch evolved into a complex time piece? No my friend, just as a watch requires a watch maker, our complex bodies require a body maker...and that body maker is God. With the above as a little introduction, let’s move on to the subject of this Health Tip...Why Our Diet Should Consist Primarily of Living Plant Foods
The physical body we each possess is a living organism comprised of living cells that were designed by God to be nourished with living (raw) foods. “Living” food is food that has not had its life force (enzymes) destroyed by heat. All cooked food is dead food, and thus incapable of properly nourishing the living cells that comprise our living bodies. When we look to nature, we learn that all animals in the wild, from their creation by God to this present day, whether carnivorous or plant eaters, eat their food in its natural, raw, living form, as served up by nature. Only man takes these living foods and puts them on a fire, cooking the “living daylights” (live enzymes) out of them before placing them in his mouth.East of Eden
When we turn to the Bible, we find that God, in His infinite wisdom, before He created man,“...planted a Garden eastward of Eden...and there He put the man He had formed.” ~ Genesis 2:8In the garden God planted “eastward of Eden” everything man needed to properly nourish the living cells of his living body were found. This “living foods” diet is clearly articulated in the Bible:
“AND GOD SAID, Behold, I have given you every herb (vegetable) bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (food).” ~ Genesis 1:29The Genesis 1:29 diet was comprised of 100% raw, uncooked — and thus, living — plant-sourced foods! Because man had just been created, we know for certain that there were no GE electric stoves, Tappan gas ranges, or Panasonic microwave ovens in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, we can be equally certain that man ate plant-sourced foods in their raw state by instinct, just as vegetarian animals in the wild do to this very day.
Heat Kills Nourishment
Most people are aware of the effect heat has upon the physical body. If a person has a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit, we get concerned, and if the temperature rises to 106, we get very concerned because when the internal temperature reaches 108, death soon follows. However, most people are not aware of the effect temperature has upon the foods they eat. At approximately 107 degrees Fahrenheit, the enzymes, which are the life force in raw plant foods, start to die, and by approximately 122 degrees, all enzymes have been destroyed and living food becomes dead food. Life begets life! Dead food cannot properly sustain life! Dead food causes physical breakdown and ultimately sickness and an untimely and unnecessarily early death."I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." ~ Deuteronomy 30:19
The importance of nourishing the living cells of our living bodies with living food cannot be over emphasized. And that is precisely why The Hallelujah Diet is comprised of 85% raw, enzymatically alive, plant-sourced foods. Multitudes have made the diet change that we teach here at Hallelujah Acres, and they have experienced normalization of weight, as well as the elimination of almost all their physical and psychological problems.
