Recently, I shared a two-part article on “How to Live Well into Your 80’s and Beyond.” I shared how the Hallelujah Diet had helped me reach age 80 with a healthy, muscular body and a sound mind.
But was I the only one, because of the Hallelujah Diet, able to reach senior status in good health?
Angela O, who went through our first Health Minister training sessions in Tennessee way-back in August 1994, has been on the Hallelujah Diet for over 20 years. She is now 85 and "feels like 60!"
Here's another Health Minister, Lois A., who tells of her results of being on the Hallelujah Diet for over 34 years:
“Hi Bro. George, I am not 80 yet but will be 70 in October 2014. I have been on the Hallelujah Diet since 1980 (even though it was not called that in 1980). I was so glad to find Hallelujah Acres when it first began because it helped support what I already believed. My testimony is in your book ‘God’s Way to Ultimate Health’ on page 63, where I told of my Dad who had two strokes at age 68 with paralysis on his left side and went on a plant-based diet. Within one year of adopting the plant-based diet his paralysis was gone and he lived to be 93. He encouraged me to adopt a plant-based diet in my mid 30’s, which I did and came to Hallelujah Acres for Health Minister training in 2001 and have been teaching this wonderful lifestyle ever since. At almost 70 years of age I take no kind of meds and do things that really surprise people with the things I am still physically able to do. Along with the diet I exercise daily as I know that helps keep me young. It is such a joy to know that I can grow old without all the problems that most Americans have to deal with. I applaud you for all you and Rhonda are doing to continue to encourage us in this lifestyle.” ~ Health Minister Louis A., WisconsinThis past week I received a letter from Health Minister Mary J., in Winslow, Maine. In the letter she shares how her sister Lily was very sick in 1996 at the age of 69 and how the Hallelujah Diet restored her health and extended her life for 17 years. Lily went home to be with the Lord on June 20.
“Dear friends and fellow health seekers, As many of you know this ministry was inspired many years ago by the needs of my sister, Lily, who suffered health challenges throughout her life, many of which were thankfully resolved by adopting the Hallelujah Diet of Genesis 1:29. Her remarkable recovery from a death-bed condition in 1996 proved the excellence of living foods in restoring the body to wholeness. A nurse by profession, Lily’s discovery of the healing power of living foods revolutionized her understanding of proper nutrition, an awakening that ultimately compelled us to begin this health ministry. For 17 years Lily and I have faithfully proclaimed and lived the living foods lifestyle, a way of life that is scripturally-based and one which we believe is the pattern for kingdom living. It has been our privilege to share the health message on a one-to-one basis as well as on radio and TV. . . . .In light of our commitment to achieving excellent health the living way, it is my sad duty to report that despite enjoying the Hallelujah Lifestyle, on Friday, June 20 at 2 A.M., Lily’s battle with physical distress ended as she passed into the loving hands of her Heavenly Father. She was 86.” ~ Health Minister Mary J., Winslow, MaineEditor's Comments Two wonderful testimonies of how the Hallelujah Diet helped one to still be alive and healthy at the age of 85 and another not only still alive, but very healthy at 70. But what about the last testimony of Lily – she died at age 86 – after 17 years on the Hallelujah Diet? Yes, Lily died at the age of 86, but remember at age 59 when she adopted the Hallelujah Diet she was on her deathbed. Because of the diet change she apparently lived 17 years longer then she would have if she had not made the diet change. We are all going to die someday, according to the Scriptures. “It is appointed unto everyone once to die.” (See Hebrews 9:27). That does not mean that God has set a date for each of us to leave this earthly body, but rather death is a certainty for each of us if Jesus doesn’t return before we die physically. You can see from the above testimonies that a diet change to the Hallelujah Diet can make those senior years on earth not only more healthy, but that same diet change can extend life. I personally adopted the Hallelujah Diet 38 years ago after being told I had colon cancer at the age of 42. The Hallelujah Diet was not only instrumental in restoring my body to health from the cancer but I believe extended my life almost 40 years (and counting). I celebrated my 80th birthday on February 12, 2014. However, there is something more important than all that – WHERE WILL WE SPEND ETERNITY – after this earthly life has come to an end. That’s why it is so important to know Jesus. I’m so glad Lily knew Jesus, and those of us who also know Jesus will someday have a wonderful reunion in heaven with not only Lily but with all those that have also trusted Jesus. No doubt there are others out there who have been on the Hallelujah Diet for a number of years and are now in their 80s and still healthy and living well. I would love to hear from you and how the Hallelujah Diet has been a blessing to you.
