He also publishes a monthly newsletter, “Natural Way to Health” available only by subscription. The following article appeared in the September 2015 issue of “Natural Way to Health”:
“In the past, autism was not a major illness. But the rate has skyrocketed in recent years. “From 1940 to 1998, of autism was one in 10,000. But suddenly, in 1998, it jumped to it jumped to 1 in 500. By 2014, it had increased to 1 in 68. Clearly something is happening. “This epidemic growth of autism is going too fast to be caused by genetics alone. There must be something our entire population is being exposed to. Vaccines may be the cause. “Sadly, the CDC has stated that no further vaccine/autism studies are needed. How they can say this and sleep at night, I don’t know. “Until we find the answer, parents deserve the right to question whether or not vaccines are safe. What parent would knowingly allow his or her child to be injected with a toxic substance? Not one! “Yet the media, healthcare providers, and the powers that be continually vilify parents who are uncomfortable vaccinating their children.”This September 2015 issue of Dr. Brownstein’s “Natural Way to Health” newsletter is totally dedicated to the dangers of vaccines. Concerning “autism” in particular, the article had the following to say:
“The media would have you believe that vaccines have no side effects. But that’s not true. Like any medicine, vaccines can have adverse effects. If parents don’t know about such effects, they can’t make informed decisions about vaccinating their children. “One of the mostly alarming adverse effects from vaccines is autism, a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication (both verbal and nonverbal), and repetitive behaviors. “I have seen many autistic children in my years of medical practice. Their parents often recount the same story of a healthy, normal child before vaccination. But within days – and sometimes just hours – of receiving a vaccine, the child regressed emotionally, physically, and mentally.
