Did God Design Us To Experience Sickness?

Did God Design Us To Experience Sickness?

The physical body we each possess was designed by God and not by man.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.” ~ Genesis 2:7
So if God designed us, which the Bible clearly says He did, He ought to also be the one we look to for wisdom as to how to take care of our God designed bodies. Right? Sadly (and to our shame) many who acknowledge their physical bodies were designed by God, look to the world for wisdom as to how to properly feed and take care for their body. Before we go any further, let’s take a few moments to look at a few things the Bible has to say about the physical bodies we each possess – where these physical bodies came from, what our bodies are comprised of, what God designed our bodies to be nourished with, and did God design these bodies to be in health or to ever experience sickness?

God Creates The First Human —Adam — From Rock Dust

And where did that "rock dust" come from? “In the beginning GOD CREATED the heaven and the EARTH”(Genesis 1:1). This entire God-created earth is comprised of 100% rock minerals and it is these rock minerals God used as building material to form man. In Genesis 2:7, these rock minerals are called “the dust of the ground”.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” ~ Genesis 2:7
Similar to the way a potter will take clay, comprised of rock minerals and moisture and fashion that glob of clay into a beautiful work of art, God took the rock minerals and fashioned them into the most incredible work of art: the human body. That body God fashioned for Adam was without life, just as that body in an open coffin we peer into at a funeral home is without life — that is, until God, “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.” Many a mortal potter has taken a lump of clay and fashioned it into a human replica, but there is always something missing that the potter cannot provide: LIFE. God, the Creator of the earth, had the power to create LIFE by simply breathing “LIFE” into that dead, lifeless body. With God’s breath of life, “man became a LIVING soul”. That’s where human physical life began! And it brings us to a series of questions that are all answered in the Bible.

Where Did God Put Adam After Creating Him?

“And the LORD GOD planted a garden eastward of Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD GOD to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for FOOD . . .” ~ Genesis 2:8-9 “And the LORD GOD took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” ~ Genesis 2:15

What Did God Tell Adam He Should Eat?

“AND GOD said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for FOOD.” ~ Genesis 1:29
So what is God telling Adam he should eat? He is telling him that his diet should consist exclusively of the fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts, coming from the plants growing in the garden.

Where Did Eve Come From?

After God had created Adam and told him what he should eat, God told Adam that it was not good that man should be alone, that he should have a partner, so He created for him a woman (help meet) to become his wife:
“And the LORD GOD said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” ~ Genesis 2:18 And in verses 21-23 we learn what God used to created Eve: “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.” ~ Genesis 2:21-23

Where Did You and I Come From?

“And GOD blessed them, and GOD said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply . . .” ~ Genesis 1:28
Everyone of us, if we could trace our family tree back far enough, would find that Adam and Eve were the roots of our family tree. If God had not created and “blessed” Adam and Eve, and told them to “be fruitful and MULTIPLY” and they had not obeyed, not a single one of us would be here on this earth today.

What Happens To Our Body After Death?

God created those first humans to live forever (See Genesis 3:22). But because of Adam and Eve’s sin (eating of the forbidden fruit) they were prevented from living forever, and the dying process entered into their bodies – both physical and spiritual death. (See Genesis 3:1-24 for the complete text). But what does the Bible say happens to this physical body when a person dies?
“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread , till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou are, and unto dust shalt thou return.” ~ Genesis 3:19
For proof of this Bible truth, just look at what is left after a body is cremated – only a small pile of rock dust remains. If a body is buried (without protection) that body soon decomposes and joins the earth minerals in its surrounding environment. This is the same process for all plant life and animals.

The Importance of Minerals

How often do we hear of the need of the body for specific minerals? The body needs calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorous, sodium, iodine, etc. Minerals have three primary functions within the body:
  • They provide structure in forming bones and teeth
  • They help maintain normal heart rhythm, muscle contractibility, neural conductivity, and acid-base balance
  • They help regulate cellular metabolism by becoming part of enzymes and hormones that modulate cellular activity
All minerals come from the ground. They are constantly being recycled through plant and animal life following death and decomposition as they go back into the ground and become a part of the earth from which they came! But God did not design our bodies to receive minerals in powdered rock form as they are found in the ground. Most powdered rock minerals are very difficult to impossible for the body to utilize. Actually, placing some of these “dead” rock minerals into the body in excess can be dangerous, as they can cause kidney and gall stones and join with plaque to cause hardening of the arteries.

How Does God Make These Rock Minerals Usable?

Rain falls from the clouds in a naturally distilled form. Distilled water has the ability to dissolve rock minerals. As this distilled rainwater percolates through the inorganic rock minerals of which the entire earth is comprised, a certain amount of these earth minerals dissolve into the ground water. These rock minerals are found in all ground water sources – well, spring, river, etc. You cannot see them, but when you boil water coming from a ground water source you can see a deposit of these dead rock minerals clinging to the sides of the boiling container.
The rock minerals found in ground water are not in the form God made the body to best receive them.
Only the plant has the ability to change a dead, inorganic mineral, into a living, organic mineral. The body does however have a limited ability to change a dead mineral into a useable form. Dr. Paul C. Bragg said: "My sincere and honest advice to you is: Don't drink inorganic mineralized water!" That is why Dr. Paul Bragg and we here at Hallelujah Acres teach and drink only distilled water. Distilling removes these inorganic rock minerals, while a product like Hallelujah Acres’ HydroBoost structures and alkalizes distilled water.

The Importance of the Plant

When God placed Adam and Eve in that Garden and told them in Genesis 1:29 the plants coming from the garden were to be their exclusive source of nourishment, God knew what He was talking about. All the nutrients the body has need of, comes from garden plants, including the bodies mineral needs if they were in the soil the plant grew in. All physical life emanates from the suns energy being received by the green plant. This process is called “photosynthesis.”Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants and certain other organisms transform light energy into chemical energy the body can utilize. In green plants, light energy is captured by chlorophyll in the chloroplasts of the leaves and used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals into oxygen and energy-rich organic compounds (simple and complex sugars) that are the basis of both plant and animal life.

In Nature All Animals Eat Their Food Raw

In nature, we find that all animals receive this sun energy and all their nutrients either directly from the green plant by eating the green plant or second hand by eating the animal that ate the green plant. But it is important to note that all animals in the wild eat their food raw – never cooked – because the heat in cooking destroys this sun energy as well as the enzymes which are the life-force within the food. The gazelle gets its nutrients directly from the plant by eating the plant, while the lion that eats the gazelle gets it nutrients by consuming the flesh of the gazelle after the nutrients have become a part of the gazelle’s body. It is important to note that all carnivorous animals in the wild consume the raw flesh of a plant eating animals. In the 1940’s, a medical doctor named Dr. Francis Pottenger wanted to know how processed foods affected our health. He financed his own research, so he wasn’t influenced by any big business interests to come up with certain results, Dr. Pottenger studied 900 cats over a period of several generations. He learned that when cats were fed raw meat over a 9-year experiment, the cats thrived, were able to consistently reproduce, and their offspring did not get sick. But Dr. Pottenger learned that by feeding another group of cats the identical meat, only in cooked form, the animals in three generations could no longer reproduce. He also learned that the longer these cats ate the meat in cooked form, the sooner sickness occurred in their offspring.
God did not design the human digestive tract to properly process the nutrients found in animal flesh foods in raw or cooked form.
Rather, God designed the human body to receive its nutrients exclusively from plant foods in their raw, living form. When man obtains these plant nutrients through the flesh of a dead animal, especially when that animal flesh has been cooked, serious potential problems result. In fact, almost every physical problem man experiences today is caused by the consuming of cooked animal flesh and dairy – including but not limited to heart attacks, strokes, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, acid stomach, heart burn, and the list goes on and on.

Designed By God To "Be In Health"

Fortunately, there are a growing number of people who have learned how to eliminate sickness and live in health. These are the people who have learned that their bodies were designed by God to live exclusively on plant sourced foods. And they have obtained that health by returning to consuming their food in the form God told Adam it should be consumed in God’s Original Diet, as found in Genesis 1:29.
“AND GOD said, Behold, I have given you every herb (vegetable) bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for FOOD.”
Following God’s Original Diet, people become living, breathing testimonies of the benefits of consuming God’s foods and an inspiration to others. Following this diet and lifestyle change, sicknesses of all kinds are simply disappearing, weight is normalizing, eyesight is improving, and energy is increasing, as their bodies become fit for the Master’s use.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper AND BE IN HEALTH, even as thy soul prospereth.” ~ 3 John 2:1
