For the past few Health Tips we have been conducting a little contest between the “wisdom of this World” and the “wisdom of God”, and I have let you be the impartial referee determining which corner wins the contest. The contest reads:
“Let’s conduct a little contest in these Health Tips. In one corner we are going to place the “wisdom of this World” and in the other corner the “wisdom of God”. By the time we reach the conclusion of these Health Tips, I will let you dear reader, be the honest referee who determines which corner wins the contest.”This week I would like to present one of the contestants in the corner of “the wisdom of this World”, and ask you to evaluate its ability to bring healing to those who go this route in the healing of disease. We are going to evaluate the ability of “DRUGS” to heal. Let us begin our evaluation with this truth: The only substances God designed to enter the human body are the foods He created to nourish it, along with pure water. God clearly defines what “foods” these were in Genesis 1:29 – exclusively living plant foods created by God, and designed by God to nourish the human physical body
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward of Eden: and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food.” ~ Genesis 2:7-9 “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed (vegetable), which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” ~ Genesis 1:29Following creation, and for the next 1,700 years, as long as man consumed only those living (raw) plant foods found in the Genesis 1:29 diet that God had designed the human physical body to be nourished with; you’ll not find a single recorded instance of sickness. In fact, during that 1,700-year period of time (from the time of man's expulsion from the garden until the flood), when man subsisted on this 100% plant based Genesis 1:29 diet, the average lifespan of the patriarchs was 912 years — without a single recorded instance of sickness! However, once man started to deviate from this diet, (as man did in Genesis 9:3 - the first recorded instance of eating animal flesh) and began cooking his food, sickness began to manifest and man’s lifespan began to shorten. Not to mention, during the next 10 generations (Genesis 9:3 to 50:26), man’s lifespan dropped from an average of 912 years to just 110 years. Something else I find interesting... every creature in the wild instinctively knows they are to consume all their food in its natural, raw form as served up by nature — and they always have. It doesn't matter whether that animal is vegetarian or carnivorous. And as long as these animals in the wild continue subsisting the natural, raw foods God intended for them, sickness is almost non-existent. But if man gets involved in domesticating a wild animal – dog, cat, etc. — and feeds them boxed, canned, and cooked foods, they develop cancers, arthritis, and many of the other degenerative diseases common to man.
Drugs Offer No Nourishment
Drugs offer no nourishment whatsoever to the body, but are rather toxic chemical poisons that become extremely destructive when placed into the body. All substances introduced into the body by injection (vaccinations), absorption, respiration or ingestion (which cannot be utilized as food), become, by definition, poison. When these toxic drugs are placed into the body, the body’s self-defense mechanism (placed there by God) is activated, and the body seeks the removal of this toxic substance as rapidly as possible. All protective actions by the body are normal, but they also have the potential of doing damage to the body. The Bible Warns Us About Drugs
Medical doctors use a system called “allopathic medicine.” Allopathic medicine is an effort to remove the symptoms of disease apart from dealing with the cause of the disease. “Allopathic” is defined by Webster’s Dictionary as:“the method of treating disease by the use of agents that produce effects different from those of the disease.”Rather than strengthening the body’s immune system with good nutrition to assist the body in fighting the disease, the approach of allopathic medicine is to introduce a foreign substance (a toxic drug) into the body to, as Webster tells us: “produce effects different from those of the disease”. But listen to what God has to say concerning these drugs in the Bible: “. . . for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy SORCERIES were all nations deceived.” ~ Revelation 18:23 The word “sorceries” comes from the Greek word, “pharmakeia”, from which we derive the words “pharma-cy”, “pharma-ceutical” and “pharma-cist”. And what does a pharmacist dispense? Drugs! Here’s Webster’s definition of a “pharma-cist”:
“A person licensed to prepare and dispense drugs . . .”
After A Doctor Visit, What Do Most People Leave With?
When a person goes to a doctor, what do they almost always leave the doctor’s office with? Is it not with a drug prescription, to be taken to a pharmacist, a dispenser of drugs, who fills that drug prescription? There are also over-the-counter drugs. Yet the Bible tells us that in the end times – and surely we are living in such a day...“For by thy sorceries (drugs) were all nations deceived” ~ Revelation 13:23Thinking this drug will take away the physical symptom, the person places that drug (foreign chemical) into their God-created body. And while that drug may help relieve the symptom temporarily (pain, high fever, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, headache, inability to sleep, etc.) every drug has a toxic side-effect upon the body, called an “adverse reaction”. When you hear of a drug being promoted on the television to relieve a particular symptom, have you ever taken note of the potential side effects or adverse reactions the drug might produce? Some of the potential adverse reactions can even include “death.” As you read the ads in various magazines, have you ever taken note of the pretty picture and words telling of the positive effect a particular drug might have upon a symptom, and then turn the page and read one or two pages of small print telling of the adverse reactions that drug might produce? Near my desk sits a copy of the “Physicians’ Desk Reference” manual (PDR). It was given to me by one of the 65 medical doctors who have gone through Health Minister Training at Hallelujah Acres. This particular PDR has 2,998 pages and lists on those pages the potential adverse reactions or side effects a patient might experience from each of the drugs a doctor has the legal authority to prescribe. Before a doctor prescribes a particular drug, rarely do they look up the dangerous potential adverse side effects the patient might experience taking that prescribed drug, nor do they usually warn the patient of these potentially dangerous side effects. Rather, they rely on the pharmacist to do that.
