About 14 years ago, when I was a graduate student, I agreed to have a hepatitis vaccine so that I could travel outside of the U.S. Shortly after the vaccine, I became very lethargic, just laying on the couch. The doctor notified me that I had hepatitis and sent me to a specialist. It didn't make sense:before the vaccine, the tests revealed that there was nothing wrong with me, but after the vaccine "against" hepatitis, I had it.
After a week of taking herbs and eating a raw food diet of fruits and vegetables, my liver enzyme levels were within normal range, which gave the doctors a pleasant surprise
