Because of the excellent response to the recipe for Sweet Almond Milk, I am sharing another raw milk substitute recipe. Introducing Creamy Banana Milk: a vegan clean eating delight! This divine creation is made with high-protein raw vegan foods like sunflower seeds, making it oh-so good for you. Full of creamy flavor, this raw milk alternative is perfect to pair with any simple plant based meals or to enjoy by the glass on its own.
1 quart of Distilled Water
1/2 ripe Banana
1/2 - 1 cup Sunflower Seeds (soaked)
3 tablespoons Raisins OR 4-5 Dates (pitted)
Soak sunflower seeds overnight, and drain. Place all ingredients in blender and blend for 2 minutes. For a thicker milk, add more banana. ENJOY!
