Raw Creamy Banana Milk

Looking for protein on a raw vegan diet? Try another tasty and nutritious milk that does a body good. Sunflower seeds are one of the best high protein raw vegan foods. Coupled with bananas and dates or raisins, this milk is as delicious and nutritious.

NOTE: These milk substitutes are not adequate replacements for breast feeding.

Ingredients:

1 quart distilled water

1 ripe banana

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

4 Medjool dates OR 1/4 cup raisins

Directions:

Soak sunflower seeds overnight in distilled water and drain the next morning. Place water, banana, soaked sunflower seeds and dates in blender and blend until creamy.

*ORGANIC INGREDIENTS ARE ALWAYS RECOMMENDED.
