Cardiovascular disease is officially the number one killer in the USA. Chest pains, called angina, are often a precursor indicating that you have serious blockage in at least one artery that feeds blood to your heart muscle. If you go to the doctor and it is found that you do indeed have a blocked artery, you may have an option for a stent to be put in, or you may be told that you need coronary artery bypass graft surgery (a single bypass, or maybe double, triple or quadruple bypass).
If you get to this point, you have to decide quickly what your options are. Do you have any? Is there any way to avoid a radically invasive heart surgery or a stent? Is a complete dietary and lifestyle change an option? Will it work? How long will it take? Are there any risks to just doing the bypass surgery? Will that fix the problem? What if it doesn’t fix the problem? Then what?
In this webinar, we do a benefit / risk analysis of coronary artery interventions compared to diet and lifestyle interventions. The goal of this webinar is to provide you with information so that you can make an informed decision about your own health. Sure, we have our bias, but so does your friendly doctor. His advice might sound good until you hear the counterargument.
