Praise the Lord! I started on The Hallelujah Diet in May 2004, after having been given a copy of Rev. Malkmus' book, 'God's Way to Ultimate Health' by the then Ambassador to the United States from Uganda, Edith Sempala. After reading the book, I thought the information so good, I ordered a juicer and started the diet.
One of the most important things I learned from reading Dr. Malkmus' book was that our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit of God. I have found that when we are not feeding our bodies God's way, we do not experience the goodness and joy that God intended for us to experience.
When I started the diet, I weighed 99 kilos (218 pounds), and after just one month had lost 19 kilos (42 pounds), my life had changed, and constipation was gone! This entire happening in such a short period of time was surely amazing. Then after reading Lesson 3 on 'Cleansing' in the Get Healthy! Stay Balanced series of lessons, I understood why all these good things were happening in my body. There is a big problem in this world.
All of my life, at least as far back as I can remember, I had experienced pain in the right side of my stomach, and whenever I had gone for medical help for that pain, all I got was another pain killer. But now, I am so happy to report that I have no more pain in my stomach, and this has happened without medicine - just by eating the right diet. I also now go to the toilet with ease. Praise the Lord!
Since going on The Hallelujah Diet I feel so happy, that sometimes I forget my age because I feel so well. I used to not like what I saw when I looked in the mirror, because I hated what I saw. But now, when I look in the mirror I love what I see, all because of a simple diet change. My good health has touched those with whom I work so much that they also have bought juicers. Life is different for those close to me now, because of my testimony. I am now so alert, and have written a book telling of my experience, which is in circulation in Uganda. I am very happy that I am on the Hallelujah Diet!
Because of the excellent health I was experiencing on The Hallelujah Diet, when I got into a motor car accident, surprisingly I had no pain, although my head looked like a balloon! And there was still a song on my heart. I was taken for X-rays, which found no damage to the skull. The doctor wanted to admit me for observation, but I refused. They gave me some kind of drug, which I also refused. All that was on my mind was to check my bag to see if my container of BarleyMax was still there, which I had taken to work with me that day. I had it! And I wanted to get home and have someone make me a glass of carrot juice.
When I got home, I was determined to do it like Rev. Malkmus shared he did following his stroke. Every hour I had a serving of BarleyMax and on the alternating hours a glass of Carrot Juice. It worked! I didn't even bleed externally, and the highly feared internal bleeding did not affect my health at all. Praise the Lord! I will show you photos of the accident when I come to Hallelujah Diet for Health Ministry Training in November. I have shared this good news about feeding the body God's way with many others who have been healed of so many ailments.
One girl who had eczema, the child of a Ugandan diplomat had been to all the good doctors all over the country, but they had failed to heal her skin. One week after starting The Hallelujah Diet, her skin had cleared. Sometimes people criticize me about not eating meat. Some even send me Bible quotations. Thank you Rev. Malkmus for the labor you have done to explain to us (your readers) what God says about what we should eat. God bless you!
On the BBC news page dated October 2005, I read: 'Figures from around the world respond to the decision to award the 2005 Nobel Peace prize to the UN's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, and its leader, Egyptian Mohamed ElBaradei. The Nobel Prize should go to individuals. Alfred Nobel was himself very much an individualist and I believe his prize should reward, encourage and support those who do something important for their country or for the world. At this juncture, let me request that Rev. George Malkmus be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize Award for the good work he has and is still doing for human kind.
