I was 43 last year, when I went to my eye doctor and he told me that I had the beginning stages of cataracts around the outside of my lenses. He told me that's why it's not affecting your vision. I also want to say that my mom also had the same kind of cataracts that started sometime in her 40's.
Well, I was really upset, and I prayed and did research and found that it is possible to improve the health of your lens. I listened to your podcast about eyes. I got the total eye health supplement and decided to do the recovery diet amount of juice, almost. I did 4 eight oz glasses of carrot/vegetable juice a day and six servings of barley max a day over the summer...since I am off of school...so I did that amount for about 2 - 3 months. I didn't do so well on eating my salads, though I had wanted to.
Even so, I went back to the eye doctor this year, at age 44...my doctor looked a little longer than usual, and told me, "well, your lenses are clear, I must have seen some fibers behind your lens last time." I confirmed with him that there are no cataracts...he said no cataracts.
Praise God, whatever was there, is now gone. God led me to work on my diet, and I obeyed Him, and He came through. Thank you so much for all you do, it brings hope, and healing. I thank God for His wisdom and healing.
