JANUARY 6, 2010 — SHELBY, NC
More than 2,500 people have registered to participate in Hallelujah Acres’ new “60 Days to a Hallelujah Waistline” weight-loss program that launches on Thursday, January 7, and online registration is still available at www.hacres.com/60days.
Hallelujah Acres, a non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to helping people discover and maintain optimum health, created the program to provide practical guidance, advice and encouragement for those wanting to lose weight and improve their health in the new year.
“We want to show everybody just how easy it is to change their health for life, simply by changing what they eat,” says Melody Hord, senior education specialist at Hallelujah Acres. “We’re so eager to show people how to feel like a million bucks that we are offering this program at no cost to participants.”
The program offers a hands-on introduction to the basics of The Hallelujah Diet, a vegetarian diet based on the first diet given to mankind in the Biblical book of Genesis. This ancient diet, now backed by modern science, promotes that dense, living nutrients found in a diet of primarily raw, plant-based foods and their juices are the ingredients needed to meet and satisfy human cells’ nutritional needs, restore damaged cells and rebuild whole-body health.
“World-wide, hundreds of thousands of people have tried The Hallelujah Diet with remarkable success,” said Hord. “Countless testimonials report not only weight loss but also the cessation of symptoms from various diseases and physical ailments.”
Participants in the 60-day program will receive practical instruction on how to break free from food cravings and lose unwanted pounds. Weekly webinars will demonstrate food preparation techniques, provide easy recipes that promote weight loss and discuss the science and research that supports The Hallelujah Diet. Participants will also receive daily e-mails with motivational tips, testimonials from fellow participants and deeper insights into the science of weight loss.
Although the program is Internet based, participants may also attend weekly seminars at Hallelujah Acres’ corporate headquarters in Shelby, NC each Thursday from January 7 through March 4 at 6:30 p.m. for lively discussions, weigh-ins and food.
