Is Alzheimer's In The Genes?

Your genes don't have to determine your future! This one simple life change can make all the difference.
“Rev. Malkmus, My mother has advanced Alzheimer’s disease. Someone told me recently that there is no doubt that I’ll ‘get it’ because it is ‘hereditary’ and in my genes. Is this true, and if it is, what can I or should I do to prevent it? The whole conversation with this person scared me and left me with feeling a sense of hopelessness. I am 63 years old and do not want to ever suffer with what my mother is suffering with.” Romona

Dear Ramona, We all have a genetic predisposition to something, BUT we have the power to keep them from ever manifesting. Diet and lifestyle can control the expression of these genetic weaknesses so that we never succumb to the conditions that affect our parents or grandparents. My mother had colon cancer and at age 42 I had colon cancer. The doctors said I had inherited my cancer from my mother. They said it was in my ‘genes’. Could it not be that mother and I ate a similar diet, lived a similar lifestyle, and developed a similar problem? After being told I had cancer, I changed my diet and lifestyle and my cancer simply disappeared. Mother, after her cancer diagnosis went the doctor route for her cancer and at her death I felt it was not the cancer that caused her death but rather the medical treatments she had received. An optimal diet, similar to The Hallelujah Diet, will help support the body in such a way that these genetic predispositions never manifest and thus never develop into a disease. You see, the change in diet and lifestyle supports the body's innate self-healing. I would encourage you, if you are not already on The Hallelujah Diet, to get fully on it so that you can prevent ever ending up where your mother finds herself.
